LHH is seeking an HR Manager for a remote position with one of our clients supporting multiple locations! Though the role is remote, travel would be required to branch locations in NC, GA, and VA once a month. The ideal candidate has candidate has 5+ years HR experience supporting 500+ employees and has a SHRM Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex employee relations matters with a focus on conflict resolution and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and concerns, ensuring fair and thorough processes.
  • Lead and conduct impartial investigations into workplace issues, providing recommendations and resolutions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance managerial skills related to employee interactions and team dynamics.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address areas for improvement in team dynamics, communication, and overall workplace satisfaction.
  • Utilize SHRM certification and knowledge to ensure HR practices align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in HR, applying this knowledge to improve HR processes and policies.
  • Answer employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, worker's compensation, and leave of absence.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is required.
  • Proven experience in HR management, with a focus on employee relations and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
