POSITION PURPOSE:

As the HR Process Consultant, the focus is on optimizing processes for the Sr. HR Business Partner and Employee Relations Partner teams. You'll lead the development of policies, procedures, and service level agreements, manage projects like case management software implementation, and provide detailed reporting analytics. Responsibilities also include overseeing expense tracking, compliance tasks, and ensuring accuracy in HRIS data management. This role is pivotal in supporting these teams by streamlining processes, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights for decision-making.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Create policies and/or standard operating procedures and establish service level agreements for both the Sr. HR Business Partner and Employee Relations Partner teams in collaboration with the Director of HR, Employee Relations Partner Team Lead, and legal counsel.
  2. Serve as project manager for case management software implementation and serve as administrator of the same. 
  3. Provide detailed reporting analysis and trend analysis for Sr. HR Business Partner and Employee Relations Partner teams to support decision-making and strategic planning for internal client groups.
  4. Create (and participate in) department-specific onboarding plans for both the Sr. HR Business Partner and Employee Relations Partner teams.
  5. Provide monthly expense tracking reports for outside counsel and employee relations contract support.
  6. Review and approve corrective action forms for entire organization (ex: terminations, final written warnings, rehires, and suspensions).
  7. Ensure completion and submission of monthly WOTC Form 8850 for all departments.
  8. Point of contact for unemployment claims research, accessing sensitive data to provide clarity for responses.
  9. Review termination report for accuracy as an audit checkpoint.
  10. Upload HR-related forms in HRIS (ex: status change, terminations, promotions, demotions, etc.)

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or other area applicable to the position plus three years’ experience in an area of Human Resources or a combination of education, certifications and three years’ work experience in related areas.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR and/or related HR certifications preferred.
  • Experience in human resources software administration (ex: HRIS, LMS, ATS, ERCM, PMS, etc.) is required.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
  • Comfort communicating/working with executive and/or senior leaders.
  • Ability to research and organize information with particular attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to make decisions, solve problems and exercise excellent judgment.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ability to view video display terminal images for extended periods of time.
  2. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  3. Ability to lift, tug, pull up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
  4. Ability to physically operate a computer keyboard, calculator and multi-line telephone system.
  5. Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane up to 20%.
