Summary
The Recruiting Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Talent Management initiatives. This position demands a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, enabling them to interact with diverse stakeholders both within the organization and with external partners. They must also be adept at receiving assignments from multiple sources and prioritizing them efficiently. The Coordinator will support all areas of attorney recruiting including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and hiring managers, coordinating new hire orientation schedules, and more.  The Coordinator will provide additional administrative support for the Talent Management and Human Resources (HR) teams for recruiting, Talent Management and HR initiatives and other Firm-wide and/or Charlotte office events, and perform other duties as assigned. 

The position will work approximately 37.5 hours per week and may require additional work after regular business hours as needed to assist with workflow, and to attend functions and events on evenings and weekends.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists with drafting and updating job descriptions and handles all job postings. 
• Updates and maintains the recruiting portion of the Firm's website and social media sites. 
• Coordinates candidate interviews and related logistics, including scheduling, conference room reservations, feedback collection, travel arrangements, invoices and expense reimbursements. 
• Reviews resumes and flags qualified applicants for the hiring manager and the leader of the attorney recruiting function or HR Coordinator. 
• Assists in scheduling and coordinating fall on-campus attorney interviews for all offices. 
• Assists in drafting correspondence related to recruiting efforts and communicates with internal and external parties involved in the hiring process, including recruiting agencies, law schools, and candidates.
• Administers candidate pre-employment tests, background checks, offer letters and reference checks.
• Coordinates and schedules new hire orientations.  
• Completes I-9 documentation and E-Verify.
• Maintains updated candidate files. Prepare reports, questionnaires, agendas and other applicant tracking.
• Develops and maintains recruitment and informational materials including agendas, recruitment brochures, flyers, manuals, etc. 
• Assists with the development and updating of recruitment, Talent Management and HR policies and procedures.
• May assist in the administration of the Summer Associate Program, including pre-summer program administration and correspondence, summer associate social calendar and events, work assignment distribution and feedback collection. 
• May assist in recruiting non-attorney business professionals
• Assists with planning and executing recruiting or other Charlotte office and Firm-wide events.
• Assists with other Talent Management and HR initiatives and performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
• Attends training, education and development programs to assist in improved performance, personal growth and advancement.

Requirements
• 1 to 3 years of recruiting or HR experience and a bachelor’s degree in HR, business, communications or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Recruiting experience in a law firm or other professional services setting preferred. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communicates confidently and able to adapt communication methods to meet the needs of each individual.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail.  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality required.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with employees and applicants.
• Willingness to embrace and learn new skills and resolve issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and/or similar software, including creating and utilizing presentations and spreadsheets.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS preferred.
