HR Manager

An exciting opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional.  This in-office position provides leadership to the HR function within a growing professional service business of around 100 employees in the NW metro area of Charlotte, NC.  This key management role will serve as a strategic partner and hands-on leader to drive HR initiatives that align with the business goals.

About the Role:
•    Collaborates with senior management to understand business needs and develop HR initiatives that drive employee engagement and organizational success
•    Effectively counsels on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, terminations, investigations and employee documentation 
•    Maintains current knowledge and application of all relevant laws and regulations at the local, state and national level relating to employment and ensure organizational compliance.  This includes educating and advising managers on legal and regulatory matters ensuring HR programs, practices and policies are aligned.
•    Partners with leadership to develop and maintain a competitive total rewards/pay philosophy to attract and retain staff, advise on compensation practices, review market data, monitor pay practices and proactively address issues
•    Manages a strategy to optimize HR related technology, enabling managers and employees to easily perform people-related transactions.  Maintain all other HR technology platforms, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
•    Manages employee benefits including broker relationship, resources, and benefits enrollment process
•    Leads and support organizational development and change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and employee involvement

•    You have prior supervisory experience
•    You have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related business degree 
•    You have a SHRM SCP or SHRM CP certification (preferred)
