Human Resources Business Partner
As our HR Business Partner, you will be a sounding board for our employees as well as the company's leadership. You will familiarize yourself with our company processes and identify both shortcomings as well as problems areas. Then, as a change agent, you will create action plans and act to implement improvements and solutions where needed.
 
In close collaboration with our HR department and business leaders, you will exchange, translate, and execute various projects in different areas of HR to align our HR strategy with our business goals. This will require a very hands-on approach.
 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
  • Recruiting: Develop strategies/programs to improve retention, oversee in the development of sourcing strategies and flow of candidates. This will consist of both direct recruitment (search & selection) as well as through partnerships with recruiting and/or staffing agencies.
  • Hiring and onboarding flows: Optimize and standardize flows supported by uniform processes, training schedules, and plans, etc.
  • Employee Relations: Be the go-to person for all workplace issues, create a positive work environment and work with leadership to support them in optimizing employee/manager relationships and communication.
  • Talent Management: Nurture talent by identifying and developing new opportunities within the company.
  • Performance management: Assist leadership with review documentation and processes to enable further growth within the company.
  • Policies: Create and implement various HR-related policies in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Employee moral: Participate in creating a "fun to work for" company environment by organizing team activities and events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education
BA in Human Resources or related field preferred. 
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Human Resources related experience.
  • Experience implementing retention strategies.
  • Must have previous employee relations experience.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage large scale change, and influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage change and work in ambiguous situations.
  • Must demonstrate the highest level of integrity, ethical behavior and be able to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Microsoft office suites
 
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • PHR/SPHR / SHRM CP/SCP a big plus, but not required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
